    1. This book has a lot of stuff that I usually avoid in a novel--psychics, soulmates throughout time, expositional flashbacks--but somehow manages to weave them all into a compelling story that's epic without being too self-consciously so. I gave it three stars instead of four because I winced at some of the more flowery stuff, and because I really hate expositional flashbacks, but overall I was impressed.

    2. i love this book so much! One of the best takes on the Atlantis myth - not to mention Greek mythology, Biblical stories and ESP - I've ever read.

    4. Set in the early 1300s, this is the story of life in the cathedral town of Kingsbridge where the men are all greedy, the women are all jealous and the powerful are corrupt. This is a sufficient novel; the prose is serviceable, the characters are uncomplicated and the historical research is on prominent display. I found much highly implausible, but I do not think the author expected his reader to think too deeply about the events recounted. In fact, he appears to assume that the reader is paying [...]

    5. This book is amazing, i read it 6 years ago (in dutch) and have been trying to find it in english now but have been unsuccesfull in my endeavors. I can't tell much ofcourse but it is about people who figure out they are different than other people and they are drawn to a specific place. In the meanwhile an organization is hunting these people. Very good read, super suspensefull!

    6. Did not like. It came highly recommended from a friend, so I was expecting to enjoy it, but sadly I justdidn't. The characters bothered me, and on top of that, now I will probably be too scared to ever go scuba diving. XD Awesome.

    7. I loved reading this book. I really like Atlantis stories and this one is very good. I recommend it to readers who enjoy fantasy coupled with ideas and theories related to the lost continent.
